About this role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer L4 based in United States. This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve a healthcare analytics platform that transforms complex data into actionable insights. You’ll work across the full technology stack, developing web applications, APIs, data pipelines, reports, and visualizations. The position combines hands-on software engineering with data engineering and business intelligence in a small, highly collaborative team. Your work will directly support client-facing analytics involving healthcare claims, remittance, and related data. You’ll contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from technical design and estimation through implementation, testing, deployment, and optimization. Because the platform handles sensitive healthcare information, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance are integral to the engineering process. This is an ideal environment for an autonomous, growth-minded engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and taking ownership from concept through delivery. Accountabilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality full-stack software across front-end, back-end, and API layers. • Build and enhance web application features using Angular, C#, REST APIs, SQL, and related technologies. • Develop, maintain, and optimize data-driven reports and dashboards that provide clients with meaningful views of healthcare claims, remittance, and related information. • Support data ingestion and transformation pipelines that move source information into the analytics database for reporting and business intelligence. • Write clean, testable code aligned with team standards and use test-first development practices where appropriate. • Work with MSSQL and Snowflake to develop features, troubleshoot issues, perform performance tuning, and optimize data-related functionality. • Participate in architecture and code reviews, iteration demos, retrospectives, and other collaborative engineering activities. • Partner with product management to scope, estimate, prioritize, and deliver enhancements while adapting to evolving technical and business requirements. • Take ownership of ideas and technical solutions from stakeholder proposal through completion, proactively identifying and resolving obstacles. • Handle PHI and PII responsibly while following security, privacy, HIPAA, confidentiality, and other applicable regulatory requirements. • Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical production issues, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in accordance with defined service-level expectations. • Contribute to continuous improvement across development practices, team processes, system performance, and overall platform quality. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, full-stack web development, or a closely related technical discipline. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required; a master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent advanced practical experience is preferred. • Advanced SQL capabilities, including strong experience with MSSQL and Snowflake, as well as troubleshooting, performance tuning, and feature development. • Strong full-stack development skills across Angular for front-end development, C# for back-end development, and REST API design and implementation. • Advanced Power BI experience, including DAX, data modeling, dashboard development, report creation, and ongoing maintenance. • Solid AWS experience and familiarity with cloud-native architecture, deployment, and development practices. • Experience working with healthcare data or healthcare organizations, with an understanding of PHI, PII, HIPAA, and data security and privacy requirements. • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex technical work and take solutions from initial concept through delivery. • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, combined with a growth mindset and willingness to learn. • Excellent communication, organization, collaboration, and teamwork skills. • Ability to work effectively within a small, high-ownership engineering team and operate independently when tackling complex assignments. • Commitment to software engineering fundamentals, code quality, testing, documentation, and maintainable architecture. • Must be authorized to work in the United States; this position does not offer immigration sponsorship. Benefits • Base compensation range of $105,000–$160,000 USD , depending on experience, skills, location, business needs, and internal equity. • Potential eligibility for performance-based incentives in addition to base compensation. • Health insurance options. • Life insurance. • Company-paid disability coverage. • 401(k) retirement plan. • 18+ days of paid time off , plus additional benefits and programs. • Benefits designed to support physical health, long-term financial planning, and work-life balance. • Opportunity to work on technology that supports healthcare organizations and improves data-driven decision-making. • Collaborative environment with significant ownership and opportunities to contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
