We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Trade Finance Unit and help shape the future of Trade Finance solutions and processes at Luminor. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology, translating complex business needs into practical solutions and contributing to key transformation and migration initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to improve processes, support system development, and ensure successful implementation of changes across the Trade Finance domain.
How You Will Make an Impact:
• Manage business analysis activities for Trade Finance domain (products such as bank guarantees, letters of credit) with system enhancements, migration activities, process improvements, and regulatory changes
• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements throughout the project and development lifecycle
• Support Product Owners in driving deliveries, prioritization activities, and stakeholder alignment
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality expectations
• Review functional specifications and participate in test planning, execution, and user acceptance testing activities
• Support implementation and deployment activities, including defect resolution, validation, and post-release support
• Provide application and business process support within the Trade Finance domain
• Identify opportunities to simplify business processes and evaluate potential technology solutions
• Contribute to the achievement of unit objectives and successful delivery of team initiatives
• Act as a substitute for Product Manager responsibilities when required
What Makes You a Great Fit:
• Experience in business analysis, including business and technical requirements gathering, documentation, and understanding of business processes and systems within financial services or banking and preferably with banking products in Trade Finance area like bank guarantees, letters of credit
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of banking operations, preferably corporate banking products, and IT systems
• Experience supporting testing activities, including test planning, execution, and user acceptance testing
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and translate business needs into practical solutions
• Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other collaboration or requirements management platforms
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and IT teams
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• A proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
• Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level
