Consultor ABAP / Datasphere

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consultor ABAP / Datasphere based in Brazil. This is a remote consulting opportunity focused on SAP data, analytics, and business intelligence solutions. You will work across business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable analytical data models. The role combines SAP S/4HANA or ECC expertise with ABAP, CDS Views, SQL, and SAP Datasphere. You will contribute to the design, development, documentation, and optimization of data structures for analytical consumption. Your work will help connect operational SAP data with strategic reporting and decision-making needs. The position requires strong technical autonomy as well as the communication skills to understand business requirements. It is well suited to professionals who enjoy solving complex data challenges in specialized SAP environments. Accountabilities • Gather, analyze, and document requirements with business stakeholders and technical teams. • Design data models for analytical consumption within SAP Datasphere, considering scalability, performance, and business needs. • Build and maintain SQL Views, CDS Views, and SAP Datasphere models, including Analytic Models, Data Flows, and Business Layer components. • Identify relevant source tables and CDS Views in SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC to support data extraction and replication. • Develop functional and technical documentation, including specifications, process-flow diagrams, and data dictionaries. • Act as a bridge between business requirements and development teams, ensuring that technical solutions accurately address functional needs. • Support the continuous improvement and optimization of analytical data structures and queries. Requirements • 3+ years of experience working with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC, including navigation through transactions and identification of tables and data structures. • Practical knowledge of SAP ABAP, particularly for reading code, debugging, and developing CDS Views. • Experience with SAP Datasphere or SAP BW/4HANA is desirable. • Solid understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling. • Ability to independently develop and optimize analytical SQL queries. • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC, SAP Datasphere / SAP BW/4HANA, SAP ABAP, CDS Views, debugging, SQL, and data modeling. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with business stakeholders and technical teams. • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Power BI is a plus. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is desirable. • Ability to work autonomously, structure requirements clearly, and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
