Responsibilities • Be a core member of a team implementing end-to-end data solutions, including the technical implementation and delivery of modern data systems and AI-enabled applications, addressing problems and opportunities at scale • Work with our customers to take them on a journey to success bringing their data strategy to life • Strive for technical excellence, always looking to deliver the right thing to our customers. • Contribute to internal initiatives such as blogs and technical forums • Drive your own development using the tools and support from Indicium AI to learn new skills Requirements (These are || not &&) • Pragmatic approach to solving problems • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and convey technical ideas to stakeholders of various levels • Good grasp of modern data engineering (distributed systems, data streaming, event-based architectures etc) • Solid foundations of software engineering e.g. automation, testing, clean code, CI/CD, path to production • Worked with one or more cloud platforms and services ( AWS, Azure, GCP ) • Software development experience with one or more languages (e.g. Python, Java ) Nice to have: • Exposure to modern data technologies, ETL tools (e.g. Kafka, Flink, DBT etc.) , data storage (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, etc.) and also IaC ( e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation ) , • Keen interest in modern AI/ML techniques • You started your career off in consulting Why Indicium AI • Plentiful opportunity and support for learning & development; £2k annual training budget (with 5 study days), access to Udemy, external consulting & leadership skills training • Fast-growing start-up organisation with huge opportunity for career growth • Competitive salary package along with company annual bonus • A hugely collaborative working environment where every person’s viewpoint is considered - a chance to make your mark on the business from day one! • Strong engineering community; regularly run forums and Lunch & Learns, internal technology practices, we host external meet-ups • Financially backed business meaning security and support for new initiatives and global market expansion • Pick your own Gear!
