Data Visualization Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Visualization Analyst based in India. This role focuses on turning complex business data into clear, accessible, and impactful dashboards and reports. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders across business insights, data engineering, operations, and support functions. Your work will help ensure that decision-makers have accurate, relevant, and up-to-date information available when they need it. You will design visualizations for both business and technical audiences while improving the usability of large and complex datasets. The position combines data analysis, visualization, data integration, and stakeholder collaboration in a fast-moving environment. It is well suited to an analytical professional who enjoys solving problems and making data easier for others to understand and use. Accountabilities: • Design efficient, impactful reports and data visualizations for both business and technical audiences. • Transform complex and large datasets into information that is accessible, understandable, and useful to stakeholders. • Transform, improve, integrate, and prepare data according to business and reporting requirements. • Perform data federation activities to support the availability and usability of information across reporting environments. • Develop and maintain clear instruction manuals for reports and dashboards. • Ensure dashboards and reports contain accurate and updated information through close collaboration with relevant stakeholders. • Deliver data and insights in a clear, useful, and visually appealing format. • Work collaboratively with business insights, data engineering, operations, support groups, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and maintain reporting quality. Requirements • Proven hands-on experience with Power BI or foundational Power BI applications such as Power Pivot. • Equivalent experience with Tableau, QlikView, Business Objects, or similar data visualization platforms may be considered. • Exposure to ETL processes, databases, and data warehouses relevant to developing reports and dashboards. • Ability to work effectively with large amounts of information while maintaining an understanding of the broader business context. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. • Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to identify meaningful patterns and insights. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong ability to contribute proactively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Strong mathematical skills are preferred but optional.
