Engineering Project Manager (SAP Retail Payments Analyst), IS&T Enterprise Systems

You'll work closely with Apple business and technical teams across regions, time zones, and external payments partners, making strong communication and collaboration skills essential. You'll own all aspects of project delivery, including: Integrating SAP Retail and front-end solutions through strong configuration, development, influence, and persuasion skills Partnering with POS, Data Warehouse, ABAP, and Basis teams to design and implement SAP Retail functionality for Apple's retail business Gathering requirements, scoping level of effort, and managing change requests Building and maintaining project plans, deliverables, dependencies, and risk mitigation Defining scope and ensuring adequate resources, budget, and timeline Leading functional and technical gap analysis Driving scalable designs aligned with global design, security, compliance, and documentation standards Providing design governance and solution architecture across a complex payments landscape Tracking issues and driving resolution across teams Reporting status to both team members and business/technical leadership Defining and executing test cycles for a smooth production launch Managing cutover and implementation across business and technical teams Overseeing warranty support and scope management for a successful handover to production support 5 years hands-on functional design and configuration experience, including detailed specifications for user exits, utilities, interfaces, reports, etc. 5 years SD functionality experience throughout the order to cash process, including billing and integration with FI/CO. 5 years of experience in payments processing, including credit cards, loans, wire transfer, and mobile payments. BS or MS degree in Business or Technology or equivalent years of work experience. Demonstrated functional lead experience with ability to drive designs that balance business efficiency, system performance, security and compliance. Demonstrable ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure without direct supervision. Ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects working closely with multiple business and technical teams. Ability to manage scope and timeline of multiple projects in parallel, with minimal supervision. Experience or exposure to SAP FI and SD integration and configuration within ECC and SAP IS Retail Experience with implementing Web Based applications using SAP Portal landscape Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization. SOH or S/4 HANA experience with be an added advantage Ability to deliver high quality solutions in an environment with high expectations and challenging timelines. Ability to collaborate with other teams in order to resolve conflicts in a timely manner. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Knowledge of Accounting Principles a plus
