Responsibilities • This role is a function within Regulatory Risk and Compliance Services with focuses on delivery in the financial services domain (Banking, Insurance, etc.). • Business Analyst role includes gather and document user requirements/user stories through deep dive sessions with end users, including performing gap assessment from data analysis session, user experience; communicate user requirements to, and work closely with, the system analyst, system developer and/or external system vendor; provide user acceptance and/or system integration testing strategy, and test cases in the area of works. • Assist the clients to perform user acceptance and/or system integration testing, if necessary. • Highlight defects to ensure critical issues are resolved before rolling out to production • Interacting with other support functions across the different departments such as Finance, Risk, Operations, Compliance, etc • Familiar with system development lifecycle, agile and waterfall methodology • Technical expertise will be brought into the project team to provide technical and implementation support for the delivery of services. • Lead translation of client's business requirements into systems specification. • Implementation of banking platforms (Core banking systems, risk/regulatory platforms (AML/CFT), trade, payments, etc..), including writing technical and/or business requirements specifications. • The role will have a business development aspect as well as a delivery element, the person will have a mix of technical delivery and sales experience. You will be participating in pre-sales/ RFP processes as well. • Post sales, the role may/ will transition to delivering the services that has been sold and continue to be the trusted advisor to the client. • Assist in project management such as preparation of project plans, status updates, stakeholder management and communication plans. • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage issues, risks and interdependencies (IRDs) between projects. • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure that projects are progressing in accordance with agreed milestones. Draw linkages between projects and demonstrate design thinking in proposing efficiency and effectiveness recommendations across projects.
