About this role

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive. We are building a new business. Alcove is Lyft's new global chauffeur network: one premium chauffeured service for executive travel, financial roadshows, VIP movements and multi-car events, with consistent standards across 120+ countries. Alcove brings together TBR Global Chauffeuring's three decades of white-glove service with Lyft's technology and marketplace experience. Today, corporate travel teams work with different suppliers, contracts, pricing and service standards in every market. Alcove replaces that with a modern booking portal, a dedicated mobile app and a single global standard of service. It will launch in early 2027 as its own brand, separate from the Lyft app, and complements Lyft Black and Lyft Business, so companies can use Alcove for executive travel and Lyft for everyday travel at scale. This is a rare chance to help build a premium brand from the ground up, inside a company with Lyft's scale, and to shape how it grows around the world. The Global Growth organization is charting the future of Lyft's growth beyond North American rideshare's core products. This includes our premium Luxury modes and Livery drivers, building a unified Lyft presence internationally, and bringing Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) to riders domestically and abroad. As the Senior Analyst for Alcove, you will be the analytics lead for one of Lyft's newest lines of business. You will build the data foundation for Alcove from day one, size the opportunity in each market, and turn what we learn from every booking into strategy for pricing, supply, service quality and growth. You will work side by side with Alcove's product, engineering, operations, finance and commercial leaders, and with the TBR team whose operating experience is the core of the business. Your work will reach Lyft's senior leadership directly, and you will help define what analytics looks like for Alcove as it scales. The ideal candidate is a thought leader who combines strong business judgment with hands-on analytical skill, and who is excited by the detail of a premium service: the right car, the right chauffeur and a price the client understands before they book. In this role, you will help us tackle problems such as: • Global expansion: Which markets, corporate accounts and use cases should Alcove prioritize across 120+ countries, and how large is the opportunity in each? • Pricing: How should we price point-to-point, hourly and event service so it is transparent and all-inclusive for clients, while staying profitable across chauffeur partners with different cost structures? • Service quality: How do we measure and hold a consistent standard of service across a global network of independent chauffeur partners? • Supply network: Where do we need more or better partners, and how do we decide which partner gets each job? • One Lyft, two brands: How should Alcove, Lyft Black and Lyft Business work together for corporate clients, and how do we build a path for Lyft Black drivers to drive with Alcove? • Growth and loyalty: What brings executive assistants, travel managers and passengers back, and how should credits and loyalty programs reward them? • The data foundation: What metrics, sources of truth and launch reporting does a brand-new global business need on day one? Experience • 6+ years experience in management consulting, strategic data science/analytics roles in a technology company, or an equivalent analytical role in a high growth startup • Experience leading high visibility projects and influencing others in a cross-functional team environment • Experience communicating with and presenting to senior leaders, and telling a clear story with data • Strong ability in building decision-making frameworks and business cases, able to understand business issues, analyze large amounts of data, and draw clear conclusions • Entrepreneurial self-starter: you naturally take ownership, look for opportunities, and do whatever it takes to drive results • Nice to have: experience in premium or luxury services, corporate travel, hospitality, B2B marketplaces, pricing, or launching a business in new international markets Skills • Ability to independently break down large datasets and synthesize inputs from multiple sources, including partner and operational data • Ability to think strategically about complex and unstructured business problems, leading to recommendations and action plans • Ability to craft a compelling story and concisely present recommendations across teams and levels, including both technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to manage, influence, negotiate, and inspire others in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment • Ability to use data visualization tools to build reporting and reusable frameworks for a new business • Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal stakeholders, including senior leadership • Strong product and customer experience sense, with an eye for what premium service feels like to the client • Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills • Proficiency in SQL Benefits: • Extended health and dental coverage options, along with life insurance and disability benefits • Mental health benefits • Family building benefits • Child care and pet benefits • Access to a Lyft funded Health Care Savings Account • RRSP plan with company match to help save for your future • In addition to provincial observed holidays, salaried team members are covered under Lyft's flexible paid time off policy. The policy allows team members to take off as much time as they need (with manager approval). Hourly team members get 15 days paid time off, with an additional day for each year of service • Lyft is proud to support new parents with 18 week
