What you’ll do Our Performance team is seeking a Vice President to help companies address complex supply chain and operations challenges at critical inflection points—whether improving performance, building resilience, accelerating transformation, or responding to disruption. With a strong focus on sourcing and procurement, you will work directly with client executives and project teams to shape practical strategies, identify savings opportunities, support sourcing events and supplier negotiations, and translate recommendations into measurable business results. In this role, you’ll help drive change across the broader value chain, including supply planning, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, inventory management, and network optimization. This is an opportunity to build experience quickly as part of a fast-paced team that values analytical depth, practical problem solving, action orientation, and the ability to help clients turn ideas into results when it really matters. This full-time Vice President position is open to candidates located in the United States. Relocation is not required, and relocation assistance is not available. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with one or more supply chain, procurement, operations, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, or related transformation topics, such as direct materials, indirect spend, category management, supplier management, warehousing, distribution, inventory management, demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, working capital, or Sales & Operations Planning. • Experience supporting projects from opportunity identification through implementation, including developing strategies or roadmaps, identifying improvement opportunities, supporting stakeholder or supplier discussions, and helping deliver cost, performance, or operational improvements. • Exposure to transformation initiatives such as operating model redesign, process improvement, capability building, implementation support, change management, network design, manufacturing footprint, facility expansion, infrastructure planning, digital enablement, or technology-enabled improvements. • Experience in a professional services, consulting firm, or other client-service environment, including working directly with senior executives, clients, or internal leadership in a professional setting. • Experience using data tools beyond Excel, such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, or similar analytics and visualization tools, to analyze data and present insights. • Experience using AI-enabled tools to enhance analysis, insight generation, and execution, with an understanding of when human judgment, validation, and discretion are essential. Basic Requirements: • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations or similar field with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027, with ability to join our full-time cohort in September 2027. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related analytical or quantitative field, from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent. • 3-8 years of relevant professional experience. • Demonstrated experience performing analytical or quantitative work, including analyzing data, developing models, identifying patterns, issues, or opportunities, and synthesizing findings to support practical, fact-based business recommendations. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, database applications, and other related tools. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage related analytics, reports, metrics, and deliverables. • Advanced written communication skills, including the ability to prepare well-structured, client-ready documents and presentation materials. • Professional proficiency in English in written and verbal formats required to support client communications and deliverables. • Ability to communicate information clearly and adapt the level of detail to the audience. • Ability to work independently and effectively on high-impact teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Ability to travel up to 100% Monday through Friday as required. • Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours as unique projects/needs arise. • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday. • Must become familiar with, and promote and abide by, our Core Values as defined by the AlixPartners’ Code of Conduct and foster an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization. • IMPORTANT: This role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization at any
