Did the 2026 PERM suspension hit companies hiring analysts?

What was suspended
PERM is the labor certification most employer-sponsored green cards (EB-2 and EB-3) need. The 8 employers cannot file new PERM cases, and their pending cases are stopped. No end date was announced; the rules allow 180 days at a time, extendable while investigations run.
It does not cancel H-1B visas or stop any other employer from sponsoring. Workers at the 8 employers face longer green card waits, and H-1B extensions past year six that rely on a pending PERM case get harder.
What it means for analyst job seekers
Outside the US, Infosys Singaporeand Australia (5 roles in Australia) and Capgemini Invent (2 roles in Europe and other regions) have roles on the board; PERM covers US cases only.
