No job board can promise zero ghost jobs, because only the employer knows whether a posting is meant to hire. What a board controls is where a listing comes from and how fast it goes. Real Analyst Jobs lists only roles read from employers' own careers pages: 6,653 live analyst roles at 1,526 companies on realanalystjobs.com on 11 October 2026, re-read every day and removed once they come down at the source. 82% were first seen in the last 30 days.

A ghost job is a listing for a role that is not really open: already filled, closed weeks ago, or posted to collect resumes with no plan to hire soon.

Most reach job seekers in one of three ways: copies on aggregator sites outlive the employer's original, reposting sites re-list roles they do not hire for, and some employers leave evergreen postings up all year.

Every scraped role is read from the employer's applicant tracking system, across 12 systems. Each day the board is rebuilt from those pages, and a role that is no longer there is removed at the next sync instead of lingering.

  • No copies from LinkedIn, Indeed or other boards: the apply link goes to the employer's own page.
  • Reposting sites (Jobgether, Weekday) are left out entirely.
  • Each role shows the day it was first seen, so you can judge its age yourself.
  • Listings employers post here themselves are labelled and expire on a timer; they never carry the verified badge.

Where today's 6,653 roles are read from

Of 6,653 live roles, 28% were first seen in the last 7 days and 5% more than 60 days ago. A role that has been up for months is not proof of a ghost job, since some hires take that long, but it is worth a question before you spend an evening on the application.

For the 1,889 US roles: 25% first seen in the last 7 days, 6% more than 60 days ago.

Days since each live role was first seen. First seen is the day our scraper first found the role on the employer's page; the oldest live role was first seen 74 days ago. Every role here was still on the employer's page at the latest sync.

A posting the employer keeps up on its own careers page looks live to every board, including this one. These checks catch most of the rest:

  • Find the role on the company's own careers page before applying anywhere else. If it is not there, skip it.
  • Be wary of a role first seen more than 60 days ago with no changes. Ask the recruiter whether it is still open.
  • Prefer postings with a named team, a salary range and a clear start, which are signs of a real requisition.
  • Watch for the same title reposted every few weeks by the same company, a common sign of an evergreen posting.

Every number on this page is computed from the live analyst roles on realanalystjobs.com on 11 October 2026, read from the employers' own career pages and re-checked daily, and it updates as roles open and close. H-1B figures come from the USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub (data as of 2026-06-30). Nothing is estimated or projected.
