MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT: As a Data Visualization and Reporting Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Strategic Acquisition Reporting & Analytics (SARA) team supporting the GDIT Strategic Acquisition Office (SAO) and larger General Dynamic Enterprise. GDIT SAO acquires goods and services on behalf of the company, develops supply chain strategy, builds strategic supplier relationships, manages supplier risk, and influences the procurement lifecycle. SARA provides foundational support across the organization including data warehousing, analytics, reporting, KPI & metrics development, and data model and dashboard development. Lead/Manage/Support development of self-service business intelligence tools Collaborate with other data analysts and supply chain personnel to identify data opportunities Drive key outcomes, how the team innovates, resolution of data challenges Utilize : • Microsoft Power BI and related data visualization tools to build interactive dashboards, semantic models, and shareable reports • SQL, data modeling, pipeline design, and quality control frameworks to ensure repeatable and scalable solutions WHAT YOU’LL DO • Build interactive dashboards, semantic models, and automated reports within Power BI • Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion and reporting pipelines based on stakeholder requirements • Develop QA/QC pipelines and checkpoints for data validation and exception reporting • Calculate and present supply chain metrics and KPIs using self‑service tools • Identify data challenges and develop repeatable, scalable solutions aligned to organizational needs • Model and evaluate the potential impact of data changes across systems and processes • Design and maintain data systems and databases, including troubleshooting and resolving coding or data-related issues • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify process improvements, recommend system modifications, and help establish data governance policies • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to resolve questions involving reports, access, and data inconsistencies • Perform additional duties as assigned WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED • 3+ years Business Intelligence experience • Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree • Experience structuring and analyzing large quantities of data and information for statistical and analytical modeling • Power BI (Desktop & Service), DAX modeling, SQL • Pipeline development and QA/QC frameworks • Database design, semantic modeling, and data governance • Supply Chain or Procurement analytics experience highly preferred • A US person is required for access to GDIT Systems WORK LOCATION Hybrid - Falls Church, VA or Herndon, VA GDIT IS YOUR PLACE • Support: An internal mobility team focused on helping you achieve your career goals • Rewards: Comprehensive benefits and wellness packages, 401K with company match, and competitive pay and paid time off • Flexibility: Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home • Community: Award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplace • Growth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunities OWN YOUR OPPORTUNITY Explore a career in data science and engineering at GDIT and you’ll find endless opportunities to grow alongside colleagues who share your determination for solving complex data challenges. The likely salary range for this position is $76,500 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
