In this role you will partner with finance and program leadership to deliver analysis, reporting, and insights that enable accurate financial execution and impactful mission outcomes. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Financial Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful. • Collect, review, reconcile, and validate financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy • Perform financial functions such as budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and analysis across assigned programs • Create, maintain, and update financial models, spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools to support program and corporate reporting needs • Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data discrepancies • Generate new project records and maintain/monitor project setups throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate coding, timely activation, and alignment with financial and contractual requirements • Maintain complete records and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal controls, contract requirements and applicable government regulations. • Conduct audits and analysis of direct and indirect costs to ensure labor and non-labor charges are allowable and processed in a timely manner. • Identify financial risks and opportunities and support recovery or mitigation strategies. • Support monthly reporting functions including sales and earnings variance commentary. • Prepare customer deliverables including invoice backup packages, Limitation of Funds notifications, and ad-hoc requests. • Support review of cost proposals, contract modifications, and special projects as assigned. • Demonstrates the ability to partner effectively with AI tools as part of daily financial workflows — including data review, financial modeling, variance analysis, and productivity acceleration • Be a valued business partner with program teams by managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested · WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED • Education: Bachelor's degree is not required; in lieu of degree, an additional 4+ years of related experience can substitute • Experience: 2+ years of related financial analysis experience. • Technical Skills: • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions). • Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle EBS and Oracle Hyperion (or similar). • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings to financial and non-financial stakeholders. • Role requirements: • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective written and verbal communication. • Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. • US Person Preferred, but not required Qualifications • Knowledge of government contract cost structures and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). • Experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Hyperion, and related reporting tools GDIT IS YOUR PLACE At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do. ● Growth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunities ● Support: An internal mobility team focused on helping you achieve your career goals ● Rewards: Comprehensive benefits and wellness packages, 401K with company match, and competitive pay and paid time off ● Flexibility: Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home ● Community: Award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplace OWN YOUR OPPORTUNITY Explore a career in cyber at GDIT and you’ll find endless opportunities to grow alongside colleagues who share your focus on defending and protecting what matters. The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $75,900. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
