This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) based in Canada.
This is a full-time FP&A role supporting financial planning, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making in a remote environment.
You will help transform financial information into actionable insights that support business performance and strategic planning.
The position is well suited to an experienced finance professional with strong analytical skills and hands-on forecasting experience.
You will work with financial models and contribute to building a clearer understanding of future financial performance.
The role offers the opportunity to collaborate across the organization while operating within a modern, remote-first finance function.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in both English and French are particularly valuable for this position.
Candidates should also be comfortable working independently, interpreting financial data, and communicating insights clearly to stakeholders.
Accountabilities:
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Support FP&A activities by analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and translating financial data into meaningful insights for decision-making.
• Forecasting & Modeling: Create and maintain financial forecasting models that help assess expected performance and support forward-looking planning.
• Financial Insights: Analyze business and financial information to identify opportunities, risks, variances, and trends that can inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Reporting & Decision Support: Contribute to financial reporting and planning activities, ensuring stakeholders have clear and relevant information to understand business performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather information, understand business drivers, and support financial planning initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Help improve financial analysis, forecasting processes, and reporting practices to increase efficiency, accuracy, and the usefulness of financial information.
Requirements
• FP&A Experience: Previous experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong understanding of financial forecasting and business performance analysis.
• Financial Modeling: Proven experience creating financial forecasting models and working with complex financial data.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial information, identify trends and drivers, and turn data into actionable conclusions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Bilingual Capability: Fluency in both English and French is required for effective communication in the role.
• Independence & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while collaborating with stakeholders and managing priorities independently.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy when working with financial information, models, and reporting.
