Senior Research Analyst

This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact research using large-scale real-world healthcare data. You will work across the full research lifecycle, from study design and statistical analysis to publication and dissemination. The position combines rigorous quantitative research with clear scientific communication and data storytelling. You will collaborate with researchers, engineers, product specialists, and communications teams to turn complex datasets into actionable insights. Working with extensive electronic health record data, you will contribute to research that addresses meaningful healthcare questions. The role is well suited to an independent, collaborative researcher who enjoys working across clinical areas and translating findings for diverse audiences. Accountabilities: • Lead end-to-end research studies, including literature reviews, study design, analysis plans, data analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of findings. • Develop, maintain, and document code used to process, wrangle, and analyze complex healthcare datasets. • Prepare research reports, conference abstracts, manuscripts, and other scientific content for a range of audiences. • Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, maintaining clear timelines, communicating progress, and delivering high-quality outputs under deadlines. • Collaborate with communications, marketing, clinical research, product, and engineering teams to advance research initiatives and ensure successful project delivery. • Provide researcher perspectives and feedback to help shape research solutions that enable clinicians and researchers to address real-world healthcare challenges. • Transform complex research results into compelling insights through writing, data visualization, and oral presentations. Requirements: • Master’s degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, health services research, data science, or a related quantitative discipline. • At least 3 years of hands-on experience using R and/or Python for statistical programming and executing analysis plans intended for publication, particularly in the health sciences. • Strong knowledge of applied statistical methods, including time-series, survival, and longitudinal data analysis. • At least 3 years of experience producing scientific publications or other research-oriented content, such as peer-reviewed manuscripts, conference abstracts, or scientific blogs. • At least 3 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating research findings and requirements to non-technical stakeholders. • Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality research under tight deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex research outputs to both scientific and non-scientific audiences. • Experience in cardiology and/or neurology research, including clinical, epidemiologic, health outcomes, or real-world evidence research, is preferred. • A PhD in a related quantitative discipline is preferred. • Two or more scientific publications, including at least one as a first author, are preferred. • Experience translating scientific findings into accessible content for non-technical audiences, such as blogs, white papers, reports, or educational materials, is preferred. • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa or work permit support.
