Customer Engineer

About the Role This is a technical customer success role sitting at the intersection of engineering, product, and the customers you support. You will help businesses successfully adopt and get the most out of an AI voice platform, acting as the key technical bridge between customers and internal teams. Your work directly shapes customer satisfaction and the real-world impact of the technology. What You'll Do • Provide technical guidance to help customers deploy, configure, and optimize the platform. • Troubleshoot Postgres-backed data workflows and frontend/backend code alongside customers. • Help customers design effective prompting and AI-related workflows to unlock value from the product. • Build strong customer relationships and serve as a technical liaison between customers, product, and engineering. • Gather and communicate customer feedback to drive product improvements and better documentation. What We're Looking For • 2 or more years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated direct business impact through written code. • Hands-on experience working with customers in a technical capacity, such as deployment, configuration, or troubleshooting in customer environments. • Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python. • Solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL and Postgres-backed data workflows. • Experience with prompting and AI or LLM-driven workflows. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences. • Strong computer science fundamentals. • Genuine interest in AI-native products and a pragmatic, collaborative mindset. Location This role is based on-site in Berlin, Germany. Visa sponsorship is available.
