Most remote analyst roles still hire from one country, so the best first search is remote roles based in your own country, then boards that say where each job can be worked from. Of 533 remote analyst roles on Real Analyst Jobs today, 214 name the US and 177 name no country, and when we read all 183 no-country roles on 16 Oct 2026, only 3 employers said in writing that you could work from any country. For roles open to your country, Himalayas and Remote OK let you filter by country or region, and talent networks such as Turing, Andela and Arc match vetted engineers and data people with employers abroad.

A remote listing usually means remote within one country, often the employer's own, because payroll, tax and work permits are set up country by country. On Real Analyst Jobs today, 214 of 533 remote analyst roles name the US.

A listing that names no country is not a promise either. On 16 Oct 2026 we read all 183 remote analyst roles on our board that named no country, and only 3 employers (Supabase, Tether and StartupBlink, the last on European working hours) said in writing that you can work from any country. Read the location and work-authorisation lines before you write a cover letter, and if a role does not say it hires from your country, ask before you invest the time.

The remote roles you can most often take are at employers with an entity where you live: India centres of global companies, Indian and African startups, and regional offices that let analysts work from home. Our remote pages for India, Nigeria and Africa list the roles based in that place first, then say where the rest are tied to, so you can see at a glance which ones fit.

None of these is analyst-only, and each is good at something different. Use two or three side by side.

  • Himalayas: a remote job board where you can browse jobs by the country they are open to, India, Nigeria, Kenya and Pakistan included. Searching and applying are free; paid plans add AI tools.
  • Remote OK: a broad remote board with a Worldwide filter and region filters that include Africa and Asia. It covers many fields and sells a paid Premium tier.
  • We Work Remotely: each listing says where you can work from, such as Anywhere in the World or one country. Its categories lean to programming, design, product, sales and support.
  • Turing: matches remote developers and AI professionals worldwide with US companies after skill tests and interviews. It is free for developers, asks for at least four hours of overlap with US time zones, and its data openings are mostly data science and engineering.
  • Andela: a talent marketplace with roots in Lagos and Nairobi that places vetted engineers and data people with companies. Talent must work from its approved regions.
  • Arc: a remote talent marketplace for freelance and full-time roles, free for talent, with data analyst roles among its listings.
  • Jobberman (Nigeria) and BrighterMonday (Kenya): national job boards, each with a Remote (Work From Home) filter and a Software & Data job function. Jobberman says it never asks job seekers for payment.

Real Analyst Jobs is analyst-only and smaller than the boards above. It reads roles from employers' own career pages every day, labels a remote role with the country its listing names, and says Remote (location not stated) when it names none, rather than guessing worldwide. Browsing is free; applying direct needs a one-time payment.
