Remote is real, but it is a race
A remote analyst role can be applied to from anywhere, so the applicant pool is national or global rather than local. That means two things: there are more remote roles than any one city's on-site roles, and each one is more contested. Speed and targeting matter more here than anywhere else.
Where US remote analyst roles get posted

Filter hard, then apply the same day
"Remote" hides a lot: US-only, US-timezone, or truly global. Read the location line before you invest in an application, filter to the roles that actually accept your location, and apply within the first day.
